Join us for a day trip from Budapest to the magical Hajós Cellar Village – home to 1250 wine cellars.

Spring Cellar Opening Festival with 14 open cellars, live music, street food, and a full day in one of Hungary’s most unique wine regions. Walk through a fairytale-like village, taste Hungary’s best wines, and discover the story of the local Swabian culture – together with an international group and relaxed expat vibes.

During the day:

• Fully guided experience from start to finish with local insights and coordination throughout the program.
• Visit the Cabernet Visitor Center and learn about the history of the cellar village and the local Swabian heritage.
• Walk through the village and explore 14 open wine cellars.
• Meet local winemakers and join guided cellar tours where they personally present their wines and stories.
• Taste a wide selection of Hungarian wines, including Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Kékfrankos, Kadarka, Olaszrizling, Cserszegi Fűszeres, Kövidinka, and Irsai Olivér.
• Enjoy live music, street food, and the full festival atmosphere. 

Price: 29,900 HUF – includes:

• Round-trip transportation from Budapest by comfortable minibus.

Schedule:

• Departure from Budapest: 11:00
• Arrival to Hajós: around 13:00
• Guided program, tastings and cellar visits until 19:00
• Return to Budapest: around 21:00
